☆ Perfume reveal new collaboration with Japanese department store Isetan! ☆
It has been announced that Perfume’s big tie-in for their upcoming song ‘Pick Me Up’ (from their upcoming double A-side single) will be a collaboration with Japanese department store Isetan! The collaboration, titled ‘Perfume x Isetan “Pick Me Up”’, features of a variety of different collaborations between the two.
The first collaboration is a two week long exhibition in the Isetan Shinjuku store starting from the 1st of April 2015, which will display outfits and accessories worn by Perfume in the ‘Pick Me Up’ PV - which will apparently be available on YouTube from the 1st of April. The clothes and accessories were designed by young designers as part of the Isetan curated ‘JAPAN NEW POWER’ project. At the same time, there will be a ‘Pick Me Up MAP’ available in store that will point out Perfume’s favorite places within the Isetan Shinjuku store. There will also be a stamp collecting game inside the map. Both will be available from April 1st through April 14th.
Following the theme of fashion, Isetan will also be exhibiting ‘dance high heels’, the design of which was supervised by Perfume themselves. The high heels are used in the upcoming PV, and will also be available for sale in the Isetan Shinjuku store.
There will be more info available on Isetan’s media website ‘ISETAN PARK net’ from the 23rd of March, as well as a special interview with the members of Perfume that will be available from March 30th.
